This is a support group for women in their 20s and 30s who are working through depression or simply a difficult time in their life. I am starting this group because I would love to talk with other women struggling with feelings of sadness and isolation as part of a supportive, encouraging community. Why is this not your average women's book club? 1. We are going to read fun intelligent books that probably won't be on Oprah's list. 2. We are going to meet up in bars and pubs (in the Beavertonish area) instead of living rooms and coffee shops. 3. You don't have to be a big reader, just read a few pages so you can discuss.
